Jacq Bailey calls it a “fallacy” to say Anne and Margot Frank were killed because they died of typhus rather than being mechanically executed. That is not a correction; it is a carefully cropped version of reality.

The Nazis arrested the sisters, deported them, enslaved them and imprisoned them at Bergen-Belsen amid deliberate starvation, overcrowding, filth and a catastrophic disease epidemic. They died shortly before liberation because the Nazi camp system placed them in lethal conditions. Saying they were killed is not “loose” wording simply because the final instrument was typhus rather than a bullet or gas chamber.

Bergen-Belsen was not an extermination centre, but nobody claimed it was. Approximately 50,000 people died in the camp complex. Bailey uses a technically true label to smuggle in a false conclusion and minimize Nazi responsibility for their deaths. :205: [attachment=0]Screenshot (1616).png
